Flourish Education is currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to work in a Primary school in Lydney, to join their team on a part-time basis (3 days per week) The school has recently been rated ‘good’ by OFSTED, and aims to provide a caring and safe learning environment for children to become ‘confident, resilient and curious’.
The school are looking for an experience Teaching Assistant to work with a Year One class. The role is to provisionally to continue until the end of the Spring term to cover maternity leave, but has the potential to be extended further. You must have previous experience of supporting Maths and Phonics Intervention groups, and an in depth knowledge of the KS1 curriculum. Previous experience of teaching ‘Little Wandle’ phonics would be of an advantage.
We are looking for a passionate and committed Teaching Assistant to start as soon as possible.
Required Skills and Experience for this Teaching Assistant role:
- Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification
- Secure knowledge of the KS1 curriculum
- Experience of working in a UK primary school as a Teaching Assistant
- A strong school reference from your recent employer
Working for Flourish Education as a Teaching Assistant you will receive:
- £85.02 day rate to £95 day rate which equates to £16,575 per annum to £18,525 per annum based on working 5 days a week for a full school year
