Position: Laundry Production Operative
Location: Milborne Port, Somerset
Salary: £12.25 per hour & £16.87 per hour overtime rate (after 40 hours)
Working Hours: Monday - Friday
3 shifts available;
6:30am - 3pm
9:30am - 6pm
1pm - 9:30pm
Duration: Temp to perm
Start Date: Immediate

A leading provider of laundry services, known for our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. They serve a diverse range of clients, ensuring their linens, uniforms, and textiles are impeccably clean and professionally finished. They are currently seeking dedicated and detail-oriented individuals to join the production team.
The job
- Operate laundry machinery, including washers, dryers, and ironing equipment, in a safe and efficient manner.
- Sort, load, and unload laundry items, ensuring proper handling of different fabrics.
- Inspect laundry items for stains, damage, or wear and report any issues to the supervisor.
- Fold, pack, and prepare clean laundry for delivery according to company standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist with inventory management and stock control.
The requirements
- Previous experience in a laundry or production environment is preferred but not essential.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Physical fitness and ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
