Teaching Assistant

We are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant (TA) to work in various Primary Schools in and around West Bromwich on a day-to-day supply basis. The Teaching Assistant role (TA):

• Building trusting relationships with the pupils
• Ensure the safety of the children in the class
• Contribute to a safe, engaging and positive learning environment
• Work closely with the class teacher
• Potentially conduct small group work when needed

Required Skills and Experience for this Teaching Assistant (TA) role:

• Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification
• Good curriculum knowledge of either Early years (EYFS), Key Stage 1 (KS1) or Key Stage 2 (KS2).
• Experience working in Nurseries or Primary Schools
• A DBS on the update service or issued in the last 12 months
• A minimum of 2 excellent references

• Competitive Salary up to £98.41 per day depending on experience, which equates to £19,189.95 per annum based on working 5 days a week for a full school year

We are currently working with schools in West Bromwich, Smethwick, Oldbury, Dudley, West Bromwich, Cape Hill, Wednesbury, Tividale, Friar Park, Bearwood and Handsworth who are all require day to day Teaching Assistants (TA) and Learning Support Asistants (LSA) to help support their students and permanent teaching staff.
