Year 6 Teacher

Flourish Education are seeking a Year 6 Teacher to work in a 2-form entry Primary School in Tipton. The school aims to create a happy, stimulating and safe learning environment for both children and adults in the school community.

The school would require a Year 6 Teacher who is able to undertake full class responsibilities including planning, marking and assessments, as the school is a 2-form entry, planning responsibilities are shared.

The role would be starting after Christmas and continuing until the end of the academic year on a full-time, long-term basis.

As a Year 6 Teacher, you will:

• Be responsible for full class responsibilities, including planning, marking, and assessing work for Year 6 pupils.
• Deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the National Curriculum for Key Stage 2 (KS2).
• Support pupils’ progress and achievement while maintaining excellent behaviour management.
• Work collaboratively with the Primary School team to contribute to a positive school culture.
• Create a supportive and structured environment that enables students to thrive in their learning.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT).
• Previous experience as a Primary Teacher or Class Teacher, ideally with Key Stage 2 experience.
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum, particularly for Year 6.
• Proven ability in planning, marking, and delivering lessons to Key Stage 2.
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
