Primary Teacher

Flourish Education is currently recruiting a Primary Teacher to work with an Ofsted rated ‘Good’ school in Yardley to join their staff on a long-term basis. The school is a larger than average mainstream primary school that invest in their staff. They understand the importance of staff wellbeing and provide appropriate practical support where necessary.

Our client wants to appoint a dedicated Primary Teacher to work in a Year 2 class who has a good knowledge of the curriculum, can plan and deliver engaging lessons and monitor students’ progress. This role will involve full class teaching responsibilities including preparing tasks, planning and marking. PPA time will be given.

This Primary Teacher role will start ASAP and will continue until the end of the academic year. The position is full time.

Required Skills and Experience for this Primary Teacher role:

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
• Experience in KS1
• Commitment to the role
• Excellent behaviour and classroom management skills
• Plan and deliver lessons, in an engaging and creative way to your class
• Marking and assessments
• Raise children’s attainment
• Create a positive learning environment
• Effectively work alongside teaching assistants

Working for Flourish Education as a Primary Teacher you will receive:

• £162.31 day rate to £223.63 day rate which equates to £31,650 per annum to £43,607 per annum based on working 5 days a week for a full school year

This Teacher opportunity is located in Stechford, which is easily commutable from Saltley, Bordesley Green, Small Heath, Yardley, Sparkhill, Shirley, Shard End and most areas of Birmingham via car, bus and train.
