Job Description: IT Support
Reporting to: IT Manager
Location: Sanctuary Personnel, 15 Friars Street, Ipswich
Hours of Work: 9am – 5pm
Salary: £21,000 per annum
We are looking for someone to join our team who has a passion for IT. Working in IT support is a great opportunity to get to grips with new and exciting technical solutions that are industry standard, to find your feet in the IT world and to discover what career path you may want to follow, whether it be in networking, cyber security, cloud services or support.
Your primary duties will be supporting the companies first line technical issues as well as assisting with any new projects the team will be working on.
Duties and Responsibilities Include
- General desktop support
- Hardware and Software installation + Upgrades
- Setting up new users and closing down old accounts
- Networking
- Management of Printers
- Backup Recovery
- Understanding of all new software
- Manage Wireless Network
- Dealing with queries through the IT ticket board
- Setting up desks
- Supporting offsite users
- Setting up and managing mobile phones for the company
- IT Asset Management
- Day to day management of Microsoft 365 accounts
- Management of VoIP System
Essential Criteria
- Minimum 1 year experience of working in IT
- Understanding of Microsoft 365 services
- Good Team working and communication skills
- Good organisational skills
- Proactive and enthusiastic approach
- Reliable and trustworthy
Beneficial skills
- Knowledge of Mimecast services
- Knowledge of online form building
- Knowledge of Recruitment CRMs
