Role and Responsibilities

As a Bricklayer at Consort Recruitment Services, you will be responsible for:

• Laying bricks, pre-cut stones and other types of building blocks in mortar to construct and repair walls, partitions, arches and other structures.
• Measuring distance from reference points to mark guidelines on working surfaces.
• Mixing specified amounts of sand, clay or mortar powder with water to form refractory mixtures.
• Interpreting blueprints or specifications to determine the type and dimensions of structures to be constructed.

Contract Type and Work Location

This position is a temporary contract offering full-time hours. The job location is within 25 miles of Darlington. Remote work or work from home options are not available for this role due to its hands-on nature.
