Are you experienced in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and ready to make a meaningful impact in a primary school setting? Flourish Education is looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant (TA) to join a warm and inclusive school in the Essington area.

This part-time role offers the opportunity to work in a nurturing SEND hub, providing vital support to children with additional needs and helping them thrive in both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Collaborating with the classroom teacher to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
• Providing 1:1 and small group interventions tailored to pupils’ needs.
• Supporting students with a range of additional needs, including autism, dyslexia, and learning difficulties.
• Promoting positive engagement and ensuring every child feels supported in their learning journey.

About the Role:

• Location: Essington - Wolverhampton 
• Hours: Monday to Wednesday, 08:30–15:30
• Contract: Temporary until the end of the school year
• Setting: A friendly SEN hub attached to a 1-form entry primary school, with 8 children, 3 additional support staff, and a classroom teacher.

Required Skills and Experience for this Teaching Assistant role

• Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification
• Previous SEND experience
• Good curriculum knowledge of Key Stage 1
• Experience working in Nurseries or Primary Schools as a Teaching Assistant or LSA
• A DBS on the update service or issued in the last 12 months
• A minimum of 2 excellent references

Working for Flourish Education as a Teaching Assistant (LSA) you will receive

• Competitive Salary – between £85-£100 per day depending on experience, which equates to £16,578.90-£19,500 per annum based on working 5 days a week for a full school year
