Food Technology Teacher

Flourish Education are currently seeking a Food Technology Teacher to join a highly regarded, Ofsted-rated GOOD Secondary School in Stourbridge. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Secondary Teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT) to teach practical and theory Food Technology lessons across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) until July. Job Role:
As a Food Technology Teacher, your responsibilities will include:

• Planning, delivering, and marking engaging Food Technology lessons.
• Teaching practical and theoretical lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
• Preparing students for success in their assessments and exams.
• Managing classroom behaviour effectively to ensure a positive learning environment.
• Collaborating with department staff and contributing to curriculum development.
• Inspiring and supporting students of all abilities to achieve their full potential.

Required Skills and Experience:
To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT).
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum for Food Technology.
• Experience teaching Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4).
• Excellent subject knowledge and behaviour management skills.
• A passion for inspiring students in a Secondary School setting.
