Social Worker within Family Intervention Team in Mold UK; earn £38.15 per hour hourly in this exciting ongoing contract. This full-time position in Flintshire's Family Intervention Team Childrens Services requires a creative and proactive social worker. Your role will provide a comprehensive social work service within various settings while working within relevant legislation and procedures, supporting children, young people, families, and groups within the community.

What you will do:
- Form, develop, and maintain strong professional relationships with children, young people, and their families.
- Provide services that meet primary needs, promote development, and address behavioural challenges.
- Identify and assess the risk of abuse or harm, taking protective measures.
- Offer advice to senior managers on cases with a potential risk of abuse or harm.
- Engage in direct casework, supervision, shared activities, and counselling to support the child or young person’s family needs.
- Lead good practice development and take charge of a special area of responsibility.
- Engage with diverse individuals, families, and carers to support informed decision making.
- Challenge discrimination and inequality, fostering a just environment.
- Utilise financial and material resources effectively to ensure value-for-money care packages.
- Lead case management for child protection work and stay informed of social needs within the locality.
- Communicate effectively during case conferences, planning meetings, and in interactions with clients and inter-agency personnel.
