What you will do:

• Carry a caseload and undertake a range of children and families and safeguarding assessments.
• Support children and families to maintain a safe environment within the family network.
• Involve families, carers, and communities in decision-making, linking them to support groups and networks.
• Commission services to minimise risks and improve the quality of life for service users and their carers.
• Work effectively with others to enhance services offered to individuals and families.
• Prepare and present reports for various forums, including Court and Child Care Reviews.
• Engage in training and development opportunities to progress within the social work field.

Professional responsibilities include managing a workload with agreed performance indicators, participating in professional development, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and policies. You'll also work collaboratively with service users and seek expertise from colleagues as needed.
