Graduate Behaviour Mentor – Candidate Specification

  • A graduate in Psychology, Education, Sports Science, or a related field (2:1 or higher preferred).
  • Strong presence in the classroom, with the confidence to manage challenging behaviour effectively.
  • Empathetic and patient, with a natural ability to build positive relationships with students who may have barriers to learning.
  • Experience in sports coaching, youth work, mentoring, or behaviour support is desirable but not essential.
  • A genuine passion for helping young people succeed, both academically and personally.

Graduate Behaviour Mentor – Job Specification

  • Full-time, long-term role Graduate Behaviour Mentor role
  • Offering up to £520 per week.
  • Work closely with students who struggle with behaviour, engagement, and emotional regulation.
  • Implement positive behaviour strategies and help students reintegrate into mainstream education.
  • Provide 1:1 and small group mentoring, helping students develop coping mechanisms and self-discipline.
  • Support teachers in maintaining a calm and structured classroom environment.
  • Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 16:30 PM, term-time only.
