NUTRIONIST - MALDIVES

We seek an enthusiastic nutritionist and lifestyle consultant who wants to make a meaningful impact on guests’ transformation journey at our client's luxury resort. The nutrionist will be responsible for conducting a comprehensive nutritional assessment and offering personalised dietary plans and lifestyle modifications to enhance our guests' well-being. The nutritionist works closely with other consultants of various complementary health sciences to provide an exceptional experience for our guests. The nutritionist must remain current with the latest nutrition research and trends and operate flexibly and open-mindedly. By responding to guest needs and changes in the itinerary, the nutritionist creates an atmosphere of trust and integrity.

^{Responsbilities:} 

• To conduct pre-arrival wellness or nutrition assessments and use this information to develop a personalised program for the assigned guest.
• Once the guest has arrived, conduct a Nutrition consultation and/or Integrative Lifestyle Health Assessment and modify the program if necessary
• To evaluate the dietary needs and craft tailored nutrition plans that align with guests’ health goals and preferences.
• To enhance overall well-being, offer expert guidance on meal planning, food choices, and lifestyle modifications.
• Monitor the guest’s progress and provide ongoing support and motivation to help them achieve their well-being goals.
• To lead and engage in workshops, cooking classes, and educational seminars focused on nutrition and healthy eating.
• Stay current with the latest nutrition research and trends and provide evidence-based recommendations.
• Assist in the daily Wellbeing Consultant Team meetings and monitor and review guests’ progress and programs.
• To know when to recommend or assign their guest to another colleague.
• To actively educate colleagues and team members on their practice modality and work holistically with other practitioners to benefit the guest’s well-being.
• Fully understand and embrace JOALI BEING, Maldives’s vision and values and its application in all tasks associated with the host’s duty.
• To create the guests' experiences, we must understand the JOALI BEING, the Maldives’ vision, and the four pillars of philosophy.
• Adhere to all JOALI BEING, Maldives brand standards, ensuring successful communication across all levels of the operation and brand.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Management

Ideal Candidate:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in nutrition/dietetics
• At least three years of related work experience in a five-star luxury resort environment
• Basic knowledge of other complementary health sciences is an added advantage

Salary package: USD2205 + Flights, Accommodation, Medical, F&B Allowance, R&R Allowance
