What you will do:

- Support the management and day-to-day operations of the Front Door Team, with a key focus on triage and allocation of work.
- Oversee the performance of staff, ensuring that assets and resources are managed efficiently.
- Aid team members in daily decision making by authorising interventions, approving support plans, and managing risk assessment and expenditure.
- Cultivate strong working relationships with partners to enable seamless operational communications across organisational boundaries.
- Collaborate effectively with the team manager and other assistant team managers to ensure services align with the needs and goals of the community, while also considering service budgets.

Requirements of the Assistant Team Manager:

- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Recent managerial experience, working as a TM, DTM or ATM etc.
- Significant frontline experience in Adults/Children’s Services working as a Team Manager
