Job Title: Locum Social Work Team Manager

We have an exciting opportunity for a temporary, experienced Social Work Team Manager to join the Assessment and Support Team in our Children, Families and Safeguarding Service in Conwy. With a position offering £44.74 per hour, this role is a full-time position requiring 37 hours per week from Monday to Friday, based in Coed Pella, Colwyn Bay, Conwy. The assignment is scheduled for 12 weeks with the potential to be extended. What you will do:
- Work closely with the Section Manager in managing the Safeguarding and Legal Team in Conwy.
- Provide services to children and families in need, ensuring effective Care and Support Plans.
- Quality assure court reports and attend court/PLO meetings.
- Oversee case management through supervision and management of level 2 & 3 Social Workers.
- Ensure the production of quality assessments that identify needs and result in outcome-focused care and support plans.
- Monitor performance and collate data for statutory duties and service evaluation.
- Drive cases to meet children's needs promptly and ensure adequate protection and support within the community and care system.
Skills and qualifications required:
- Social Work Qualification, minimum of 3 years post-qualified experience.
- Registered with Social Care Wales.
- Previous Team Management experience.
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in technology and software.
