What You Will Do:

• Manage a caseload of 12-14 fostering households, ensuring high standards of care.
• Work collaboratively with a diverse range of foster carers, embedding a therapeutic approach in daily practice.
• Safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people, always keeping their best interests at heart.
• Provide duty cover when the Placement Officer is on annual leave and participate in the out-of-hours rota.

Qualifications:

• Hold a Social Work Degree, Dip S/W, CQSW, or an equivalent qualification.
• Newly qualified social workers, including those who have completed ASYE, are welcome.
