Band 6 Occupational Therapist within Community Learning Disabilities in Hereford UK earning £26 per hour Hourly on an Ongoing contract. Full time and part time will be considered. What you will do:
- Assess and plan interventions for individuals with learning disabilities to enhance their daily living skills
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement personalised care plans
- Provide advice and training to family members and carers to support individuals' well-being
- Conduct assessments in clients' homes and community settings to create supportive environments
- Track and evaluate clients' progress and adjust interventions as needed
Requirements for the Occupational Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy
- Recent experience working as an Occupational Therapist in the UK
- Recent NHS experience
- Registered with the HCPC
- Experience in community settings
- Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities
- A current driving license is preferable
