Social Worker - Intermediate Care within Adult Services in Walsall UK earning £32 hourly Full Time for 3 months

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Social Worker in Intermediate Care to join the Walsall Council team for a 3-month locum position. Full-Time work is available, earning a competitive £32 hourly rate. What you will do:

• Conduct strengths-based assessments for adults with care and support needs, planning and providing direct work in accordance with the Care Act 2014.

• Identify needs and work collaboratively with carers to develop and implement effective care plans.

• Undertake safeguarding duties to protect adults with care and support needs from abuse or neglect, ensuring their safety and well-being.

• Ensure that all social work practice is transparent, accountable, and adheres to professional standards, ethics, and values.

• Deliver high-quality social care that promotes independence and improves outcomes for all adults in the community.
