Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct person-centred occupational therapy functional assessments of adults living in the community to identify their physical, sensory, psychological, and cognitive needs related to Activities of Daily Living.
• Develop short treatment plans in collaboration with clients, families, and carers to address identified needs.
• Identify and raise safeguarding concerns for adults with care and support needs, leading safeguarding enquiries and promoting the principles of Making Safeguarding Personal.
• Undertake comprehensive assessments, identifying safeguarding issues and delivering tailored interventions.
• Deliver interventions that enhance individuals’ ability to perform tasks in their daily living environment, promoting health and independence.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A current HCPC registration.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in occupational therapy, ideally within social services or community settings.
• A valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate travel within the community.
