Locum Opportunity: Senior Practitioner in Discharge to Assess, North Birmingham (UK) – £33.33 Hourly

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Practitioner within the Discharge to Assess Community Team focusing on Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) units in North Birmingham. Offering an attractive rate of £33.33 per hour, this full-time locum role requires 35 hours per week from Monday to Friday. Hybrid working arrangements mean most of your work will be done from the comfort of your home, although there may be moments you'll need to engage face-to-face, ensuring your assessment skills are put to use in complex situations.

- Supervise and mentor Social Care Workers, ensuring they deliver top-tier performance and practice quality within a high-support, high-challenge environment.
- Conduct complex care act assessments face-to-face, adhering strictly to timescales.
- Participate actively in the Continuing Health Care process, attending multidisciplinary team meetings, primarily via Teams, with some face-to-face requirements.
- Manage and support your team effectively, promoting a culture of shared learning through casefile audits and fostering a strong "one team" ethos.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, advocating when necessary to ensure the best outcomes for clients.
