About the school - Graduate Learning Support Assistant
The school is an SEN school in Nottingham which helps assist students with Profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD), this will involve students which have profound learning disabilities meaning they may struggle hearing, speaking and moving.
This school provides constant support to students with various disabilities within a small classroom setting, while providing high quality teaching and learning while delivering it through a dynamic, engaging and meaningful curriculum. There curriculum offers their pupils lots of different opportunities which draws curiosity, resilience, choice making and independence skills, to support them to become aspirational, confident, lifelong learners who are fully equipped to embrace challenges.
Excellent training and development on offer for all members of staff. PLEASE NOTE – you will not be placed in a position where you will not be able to fulfil the needs of the role.
What we’re looking for – Graduate Learning Support Assistant
- A recent Psychology Graduate with a 2:1 or above with matching A-levels.
- A genuine passion for working with children with specialist needs supporting their physical, emotional and educational needs.
- Strong communication skills, Patience and Empathy.
- The ability to work collaborate in a team to contribute to a positive exciting hands-on learning environment.
