What you will do:
Lead and manage a team of social workers and practitioners to deliver effective child protection services. Ensure all statutory requirements and best practices are adhered to in case management. Provide supervision and professional guidance to staff to promote high standards of practice. Collaborate with partner agencies such as health, education, and law enforcement to safeguard children and support their welfare. Monitor service performance and implement improvements for optimum efficiency. Respond promptly to child protection concerns, including chairing strategy discussions and case conferences. Efficiently manage resources within the budget to meet the needs of children and families. Contribute to the development of services and support best practice initiatives in child protection. Maintain accurate records that comply with regulatory standards.
