Rotating Days and Night shifts
07.00 to 19.00 and 19.00 to 07.00
£21.14 per hour, (£15.10ph +40% shift premium)

Our client is seeking a SHIFT SUPERVISOR to join them on a permanent basis. This client operates 24/7 producing a product that we use everyday and ships them around the world. You will be responsible for leading the production team to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective execution of the daily packing plan. This role is integral to developing a best-in-class packing operation, fostering a collaborative and structured team environment, and aligning with business objectives. Key areas of focus include safety, food quality, production efficiency, and continuous improvement, ensuring the highest operational standards in production.
Working environment:
- Shift pattern: 4,5,5,4 rotating (07:00 -19:00 / 19:00 - 07:00)
- Physical requirements: Standing for extended periods, working in production, blending, and warehouse areas.
- Occasional office-based meetings required.
CV showing the following:
- Proven experience in FMCG food manufacturing (3+ years in a supervisory role).
- Strong knowledge of IFS, BRC food standards, and audit requirements.
- Experience in warehousing and logistics within a factory environment.
- Competency in SAP/ERP factory processes.
- Strong numeracy, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work within cross-functional teams, using initiative to drive department improvements.
- Experience using Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for reporting and analysis.

- Passport OR Birth Certificate with National Insurance proof
- Food Safety Level 2
- NVQ Level 2 in Manufacturing Operations
Desirable but not essential
- IOSH Certificate (Health & Safety)
- Lean Six Sigma (Yellow or Green Belt)
- People Management Diploma
