Job Title: Night Hygiene Operative
Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 1.30pm - 10pm
Location: North Curry, nr Taunton, Somerset
Salary: £14.00 per hour
Duration: Temp to perm
Start Date: Immediate
Are you a motivated individual with experience in food production? Do you have a strong work ethic and the ability to handle raw meat safely? We are looking for a dedicated PM Shift Manager to join the team in North Curry, Somerset.

A reputable, family run company specializing in high-quality food products. They are committed to excellence in food production and are seeking a skilled PM Shift Manager to help maintain their high standards.
The job
- Oversee the PM shift production team
- Managing 3 departments - Low risk, high risk & the yard
- Handle and process raw meat in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Operate food production machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Follow production schedules and instructions to meet quality and quantity standards.
- Ensure cleanliness and hygiene in the production area, adhering to strict food safety protocols.
- Assist with packaging and labeling of finished products.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment and report any issues.
- Maintain accurate records of production and inventory as required.
The requirements
- Experience in a food production environment.
- Experience as a Team Leader, Shift Manager or similar.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Own transport is essential due to the rural location of the site.
