Join us for an exciting opportunity as a Speech & Language Therapist - Band 6 with a focus on Paediatrics in Birmingham, with ongoing engagement and flexibility for full-time or part-time work. As a Band 6 Paediatric Speech & Language Therapist, you'll be bringing your expertise to the heart of Birmingham. Working with children across a range of settings, you will utilise your highly developed communication skills and established clinical expertise to assess and intervene in a wide array of speech, language, and communication needs, as well as complex cases. This is your chance to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including educational colleagues, in providing early intervention and ongoing support to diverse caseloads.

What you will do:
- Deliver both telephone appointments and face-to-face sessions in patient homes, clinics, and special schools.
- Support children with eating, drinking, and swallowing difficulties via direct and supplementary media, such as video submissions and occasional video calls.
- Connect and collaborate with educational staff and families, providing interventions at Universal, Targeted, and Specialist levels.
- Act as a link Speech & Language Therapist in local schools, contributing to multi-agency teams and early interventions.
- Manage a varied and complex paediatric dysphagia caseload independently, backed by post-registration qualifications or equivalent experience.
To thrive in this role, you will need to be HCPC registered and a licensed car driver to reach various work locations easily.
