Flourish Education are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Art and Design Teacher at an Ofsted rated GOOD secondary school in Smethwick. This Art and Design Teacher position is part-time, with a start date as soon as possible, and runs until July.

Job Role:
As an Art and Design Teacher, you will be responsible for:
• Teaching Art and Textiles to Key Stage 5 students
• Full class responsibilities including lesson planning, teaching, and marking
• Designing creative and engaging lessons aligned with the National Curriculum
• Delivering high-quality lessons to inspire student engagement and performance
• Ensuring excellent behaviour management throughout your lessons

Required Skills and Experience:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – Early Career Teacher (ECT) applications welcome
• Proven experience teaching Art and Design, particularly at Key Stage 5
• Excellent subject knowledge in both Art and Textiles
• Strong understanding of the National Curriculum for Art and Design
• Exceptional behaviour management skills and classroom control
• Ability to create dynamic and engaging lesson plans
• A passion for inspiring students and fostering creativity

Working as an Art and Design Teacher for Flourish Education also offers you excellent benefits, including:
• £160 to £225 per day, which equates to £31,200 to £43,875 per annum, based on working 5 days a week for a full school year
