Science Teacher

We are currently recruiting a dedicated and experienced Science Teacher for a full-time, long-term position at a Secondary School in Walsall. This Good OFSTED-rated school is known for its inclusive and supportive environment where students and staff thrive. The school offers modern facilities and a well-resourced science department, ensuring an engaging and dynamic teaching experience. This role involves teaching Science across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4), making it an exciting opportunity for a passionate Secondary Teacher to inspire and engage students.

The role is due to start after Easter and will run through until July initially, with the potential of extension.

Job Role:

• Full class responsibilities, including planning and marking
• Teaching Science across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
• Ensuring high-quality learning and progression for students
• Managing classroom behaviour effectively to maintain a positive learning environment
• Providing constructive feedback and supporting student development

Required Skills and Experience:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT) status
• Strong subject knowledge of Science (Biology, Chemistry, and Physics) and the National Curriculum
• Proven experience in teaching Science at Secondary School level
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
• Ability to create engaging lessons that inspire students
• A passion for developing the potential of students in Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4)
