Nursery Practitioner

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Nursery Assistant to join an OFSTED-rated 'Good' Primary School in Gloucester. This position is perfect for a qualified TA who is passionate about working in a Nursery setting and contributing to the development of young learners.

Job Role:

• Support the learning and development of children within the Nursery, ensuring alignment with the EYFS and National Curriculum.

   

• Assist the Nursery lead in planning and delivering engaging activities.

   

• Provide one-on-one support to pupils who require additional assistance.

   

• Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for all children.

   

• Manage children's behaviour in line with school policies.

   

• Ensure effective communication with staff, parents, and carers.

   

Required Skills and Experience:

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in childcare or a related field.

   

• Previous experience working as a Nursery Assistant in a UK Primary School, particularly within a Nursery setting.

   

• Strong understanding of the EYFS and National Curriculum.

   

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

   

• Ability to work full-time, Monday to Friday, from 8:40 to 15:40.
