Pinnacle Group is seeking a dedicated and vigilant Experienced Gatehouse Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of our Distribution Centre. You will be joining our Security Team based at Cherry Blossom Way SR5

To provide professional security services to our client, maintaining the security and safety of their premises and people by ways of monitoring, patrolling and surveying the building and their assets.

We are offering a Full-Time Role 42 hours per week, working 4 on 4 off - 12hr DAY shifts from 7am – 7pm - with the option of overtime available to cover sickness and annual leave

Key responsibilities will include:

Meet and greet visitors, staff and contractors and manage the gatehouse environment.
Take accurate notes to complete reports, logbook entries and all relevant paperwork to a high standard - including reporting in detail any incidents occurring whilst on duty
Conduct searches within the guidelines of company procedures.
Carry out routine foot patrols around the site, locking and unlocking premises
Liaison with local authorities including police, emergency healthcare services or even fire extinguishers in case of an emergency

Key requirements:

Valid SIA Front Line Licence
Proven experienced as Gatehouse Guard
Excellent customer service skills, with good communication and interpersonal qualities
You will need to evidence your honesty, and reliability and always maintain a sense of pride in your professionalism
Full 5-year UK checkable work history
