Teaching Assistant

Flourish Education are recruiting a Teaching Assistant to work in a Primary School located in Coventry. The school is a tight community and wants to develop motivated, engaged and happy children. Our client is looking for a dedicated and passionate SEND Teaching Assistant to join their staffing team.

The school is looking for a long-term SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team to provide support to a child in KS1. The child has complex needs, non-verbal, behavioural and learning difficulties.

Our client is looking for someone to start after the October half term and work until the end of the current school year.

Required Skills and Experience for this Teaching Assistant role:

• Minimum Level 3 Qualification
• UK school experience
• Ability to liaise with the class teacher, SENDCO, and other agencies to meet the needs of the pupil.
• Build effective relationships with pupils and staff.
• Experience supporting children with SEN.
• Experience within KS1.
• Effectively manage the behaviour and engagement of the child.
