Flourish Education are seeking a SENCo for a GOOD-rated Primary School in Longbridge. This role offers an opportunity to support SEN pupils in a nurturing environment, with flexible options of either full-time or part-time hours. This is a long-term position starting ASAP, offering potential continuity until the end of the academic year.

Our client is recruiting a SENCo to support children across the Primary age range who have SEN, communicating with outside agencies regarding the pupil’s progress or additional support they would require. Responsibilities of this role includes supporting the class teacher and support staff, reviewing EHCP and IEP progress made by pupils. The position is open to flexibility, offering the potential for both full-time and part-time hours.

This position is not class based; responsibilities include:

• Lead the development and implementation of the school’s SEN provision
• Work closely with teachers to ensure tailored support for SEN pupils
• Liaise with parents and external agencies to support SEN pupils' progress
• Monitor and report on SEN pupil progress

Required Skills and Experience:

• SENCo qualification required
• Experience working in a Primary School environment
• Strong knowledge of SEN and excellent behaviour management skills
• Ability to support across Key Stage 1 (KS1), Key Stage 2 (KS2), and Early Years (EYFS)
• A minimum of 2 excellent references.
