We are searching for a qualified teaching assistant, or nursery practitioner for a long-term role, who can fit into a warm and welcoming team from January. This role is to start in January of 2025 until the end of the summer term, with potential to extend into the new academic year. This is a full-time role from Monday to Friday, with the nursery hours of 08:15 – 15:45. Successful candidates will be required to support a class of 12 children throughout the day in creative learning and activities, to help aid their growth and development.
As a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner, you will:
- Deliver high-quality care and education in line with EYFS standards.
- Support children’s learning and development through engaging activities.
- Ensure a safe and nurturing environment in the nursery school.
- Collaborate with team members to provide an outstanding educational experience.
- Build strong relationships with children, parents, and staff.
- Uphold the values and standards of an Ofsted-rated OUTSTANDING setting.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- A Level 3 early years qualification (or equivalent).
- Experience working in UK schools, specifically within EYFS or nursery settings.
- Strong understanding of EYFS principles and child development.
- Ability to create engaging and age-appropriate activities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
