English Teacher

Flourish Education is seeking a dedicated English Teacher to join a secondary school in Wednesbury from January until July. This full-time position involves teaching both English Language and English Literature up to Key Stage 4. Job Role:

As an English Teacher, you will:

• Deliver engaging lessons for English Language and English Literature to students at Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4).
• Take full responsibility for planning, teaching, and marking student work.
• Assess and track students’ progress, providing feedback to help them improve.
• Support students in preparing for their GCSE exams and achieving their best results.
• Foster a positive learning environment that encourages students to be passionate about literature and language.
• Collaborate with other teachers and contribute to the development of the department.

Required Skills and Experience:

To be successful in this English Teacher role, you will need:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be an Early Career Teacher (ECT).
• Experience teaching English Language and English Literature in a secondary school setting.
• Excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum for KS3 and KS4.
• Strong behavior management skills to maintain an engaging and respectful classroom.
• Passion and enthusiasm for teaching and developing student potential.
