Flourish Education is currently seeking a dedicated Science Teacher for a GOOD-rated Secondary School in Kings Heath. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive and forward-thinking school. The successful Science Teacher will deliver the National Curriculum to both Key Stage 3 and 4 students while inspiring a passion for science.

This role will be full time, starting in January until the end of the academic year. You will have full class responsibilities, which will be planning, marking and teaching.

As a Science Teacher, your responsibilities will include:

• Teaching engaging Science lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
• Following the National Curriculum to ensure student progression.
• Managing classroom behaviour effectively to ensure a positive learning environment.
• Assessing student performance and providing constructive feedback.
• Collaborating with the wider Secondary School team to achieve excellent outcomes.

Required Skills and Experience as a Science Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT).
• Proven experience as a Secondary Teacher delivering science to KS3 and KS4 students.
• Excellent subject knowledge and strong behaviour management skills.
• Ability to follow the National Curriculum and adapt lesson plans accordingly.
• A passion for inspiring and motivating students within a Secondary School setting.

• £160 to £250 per day, which equates to £31,200 to £48,750 per annum based on working 5 days a week for a full school year.
