Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Location: Glasgow
Contract: Inside IR35

Role Summary: Our client are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join their dynamic Supply Chain and Manufacturing team. This position offers a unique opportunity to work a flexible schedule of three days per week, with day and night shifts.

Shift Pattern:
• Shift 1: Monday - Thursday 5:30 AM - 2:00 PM; Friday 5:30 AM - 11:30 AM
• Shift 2: Monday - Thursday 2:00 PM - 12:00 AM; Off Friday

Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure efficient maintenance, repair, and improvement of plant assets to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with site personnel to develop and deliver maintenance strategies.
• Implement and enhance maintenance programs that support asset performance and utilization.
• Respond promptly to plant breakdowns, diagnosing root causes to facilitate repairs.
• Accurately record and report plant maintenance issues via SAP to ensure best practices are shared.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and maintain high-quality standards in all operations.

Qualifications and Skills:
• Proven interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels and build key relationships.
• Initiative to propose improvements while providing guidance on existing practices.
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on problem-solving and driving manufacturing excellence.
• You must be Time-served Electrical Engineer with relevant qualifications (NVQ L3 /SVQ L3, Electrical bias) - this is essential.
• Knowledge of health and safety legislation and environmental risk principles.
