Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant – What You’ll Be Doing: As a Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant, your role will include:

• Providing 1:1 and small group support to children, helping them with their reading, writing, and numeracy skills
• Assisting with lesson planning and delivery, ensuring that all children are engaged and excited about learning
• Supporting children during classroom activities and playtime, helping them build social and emotional skills
• Encouraging creativity and critical thinking through hands-on learning experiences
• Helping with classroom organisation, ensuring a safe and nurturing learning environment
• Assisting with the preparation of learning materials and resources to support individual student needs
• Working closely with teachers to track student progress and provide feedback

Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant – What We’re Looking For:

• A 2:1 degree or higher in any subject (ideally with a focus on education, childhood studies, or similar)
• A genuine passion for working with children and making learning fun
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage young learners
• Previous experience with children, whether through tutoring, volunteering, or similar roles, is desirable but not essential
• Patience, kindness, and a flexible approach to supporting children with different learning needs
• A proactive attitude, with a desire to contribute to children’s personal and academic development
• An interest in pursuing a career in primary education
