Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant – What You’ll Be Doing: As a Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant, your role will include:

• Providing 1:1 and small group support to children, helping them with their reading, writing, and basic numeracy
• Assisting with lesson preparation and delivering engaging activities that capture children's imaginations
• Supporting children during classroom tasks and play, encouraging social skills and positive behaviour
• Helping children with their learning through hands-on, interactive activities and play-based learning
• Assisting with classroom organisation and ensuring a safe and enjoyable learning environment
• Encouraging creativity, critical thinking, and emotional growth in young students
• Working closely with the teaching team to track student progress and provide feedback

Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant – What We’re Looking For:

• A 2:1 degree or higher in any subject (preferably with a focus on education, childhood studies, or similar)
• A genuine passion for working with young children and making learning fun
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and inspire young learners
• Previous experience with children, whether through tutoring, volunteering, or similar roles, is desirable but not essential
• Patience, empathy, and a flexible approach to supporting children with different learning needs
• A proactive attitude, with a strong desire to support children's development in every way
• An interest in pursuing a career in primary education
