Early Years Teaching Assistant

This is a full-time, long-term position, perfect for an experienced TA who is ready to support young learners in a nurturing environment.

As an Early Years Teaching Assistant, responsibilities include:

• Supporting the Class Teacher in delivering engaging lessons for children aged 3-5 years old.
• Working with key groups in the Early Years (EYFS) setting, following the Birth to Five Framework.
• Encouraging a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment.
• Assisting with phonics, numeracy, and social development activities.
• Providing tailored support to individual pupils to aid their learning.
• Helping to assess and track children's progress under the guidance of the Class Teacher.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Previous Early Years Teaching Assistant experience within a UK Primary School is essential.
• A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning, Early Years Education, or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and Early Years (EYFS) framework.
• Knowledge of working with Nursery and Reception age children.
• Ability to work with Key Groups and support children’s development.
• A proactive and enthusiastic approach to supporting young learners.
