Early Years Teaching Assistant

Working as a Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Assist the Class Teacher in delivering the Primary School curriculum, ensuring all pupils are supported in their learning.
• Work with small groups or on a one-to-one basis with children across Key Stage 1 (KS1) and Key Stage 2 (KS2).
• Support children in Early Years (EYFS) with learning activities and development.
• Manage classroom behaviour and encourage a positive learning environment.
• Assist with lesson preparation, including setting up resources and providing feedback to the Class Teacher.
• Ensure safeguarding procedures are always followed.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Experience as a Teaching Assistant in a UK school setting is essential.
• A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
• Knowledge of the National Curriculum, including KS1, KS2, and EYFS.
• Strong classroom management skills and ability to build positive relationships with pupils.
• Passion for education and commitment to student development.
