This role provides the perfect balance of teaching and flexibility, making it ideal for someone seeking part-time work while maintaining a great work-life balance. As a PPA Cover Teacher, you’ll be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons and ensuring continuity in the classroom in the absence of the regular teacher. This includes providing feedback at the end of each day to help maintain the progression of student learning. The role offers flexibility and can be tailored to fit your preferred working hours, giving you the freedom to work around your other commitments.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Delivering pre-planned lessons across different year groups within the two-form entry primary school.
• Providing clear and constructive feedback at the end of the day to ensure continuity in student learning.
• Maintaining a productive and engaging learning environment.
• Managing classroom behavior to ensure a positive and focused atmosphere.
• Developing positive relationships with pupils and staff, promoting a supportive school environment.

We are looking for a teacher with:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an Early Career Teacher (ECT).
• Experience teaching in primary schools or similar educational settings.
• A strong understanding of the National Curriculum.
• Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to create an engaging learning environment.
• A commitment to supporting students’ learning and development in a positive, inclusive way.
