Are you an enthusiastic and flexible Teaching Assistant with a strong understanding of Key Stage 2? Flourish Education is seeking a dedicated TA to join a “Good” rated one-form entry Primary School in Wolverhampton for the summer term, with the possibility of extending in September.
This long-term, full-time role will involve supporting the Year 5 class teacher in lesson delivery and ensuring students receive the help they need to succeed. You will be actively involved in providing individual and small group support, helping pupils with their work, and ensuring a positive and engaging classroom environment. This is a great opportunity to contribute to a nurturing learning atmosphere while gaining valuable classroom experience.
As a Year 5 Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the class teacher with delivering lessons and engaging students in learning activities.
- Assisting with individual and small group support to ensure pupils understand the lesson content.
- Helping students with their work, offering clarification, and encouraging independence.
- Preparing and organizing classroom resources to support learning.
- Collaborating with the teacher and other staff to enhance the overall learning experience.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has a good understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum (KS2), specifically in Year 5.
- Holds a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Education and Childcare or equivalent.
- Demonstrates excellent communication and behaviour management skills.
- Is flexible, adaptable, and committed to supporting students’ academic development in a positive, engaging manner.
