Senior Social Worker - Case Management Team in Shropshire (UK), earning £30.76 hourly, Ongoing. This full-time hybrid role offers an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to join a dynamic team focused on Children in Need (CiN), Child Protection (CP), and care proceedings. You will be expected to split your work between the office, home, and the field, with two days office-based and three days visiting and working from home (WAH).

  • Manage child protection cases, organising multi-agency meetings and developing comprehensive reports.
  • Prepare for and attend care proceedings, representing the best interests of the children and young people.
  • Work closely with families, providing guidance, support, and practical solutions to meet their needs.
  • Liaise with other professionals, including health, education, and legal services, to coordinate a holistic approach to care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records, in compliance with statutory requirements and departmental policies.
