What you will do:
- Lead and manage the Duty Academy Team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality assessments and support to children in need.
- Provide direction and supervision to newly qualified social workers, helping them transition smoothly into their roles.
- Collaborate with the Advanced Practitioner to enhance the team’s practice and meet objectives effectively.
- Employ the Family Safeguarding model to achieve positive outcomes for children, safeguarding their wellbeing.
- Undertake intensive work at the Child in Need stage to prevent escalation and ensure timely assistance for families.
- Engage with the five Duty Teams across the service to manage complex cases with a strategic approach.
