Job Title: Marketing and Communications Director
Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands
Salary: € 3,400 - €4,400 gross per month

This prestigious 5-star hotel is seeking an experienced Director of Marketing & Communication to oversee all aspects of marketing (including digital), public relations, and internal/external communication. This leadership role involves developing strategic corporate communication plans, managing brand awareness campaigns, and protecting and enhancing the hotel’s reputation at the highest level.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the executive team to define the long-term brand strategy for the hotel and its facilities.
• Develop and execute marketing and brand awareness strategies (both short- and medium-term) for all sub-brands, including restaurants, bars, and wellness centers.
• Ensure the hotel and its outlets are recognized as leaders in their respective categories through impactful marketing and communication efforts.
• Monitor, evaluate, and optimize all marketing activities to drive business impact, ensuring alignment with the hotel's commercial goals.
• Work closely with department heads and report directly to the Deputy General Manager/Commercial Director.
• Participate in strategic discussions with senior management and advise on key decisions.
• Lead and inspire a marketing communication team, fostering creativity and performance.
• Manage the Marketing & Communication budget, ensuring resources are effectively allocated to achieve targeted ROI and support hotel objectives.

Qualifications & Skills

• Previous experience in luxury hotels required
• Deep understanding of the hospitality market in the Netherlands
• Proven leadership experience with strong strategic thinking and communication skills.
• Ability to build relationships across departments and demonstrate cultural sensitivity.
• Creativity, adaptability, and emotional intelligence in leading projects.
• Strong analytical and project management skills.
