An exciting opportunity has opened up for a Financial Controller to join a growing hospitality group. This position is perfect for someone eager to learn and grow within the company. You will report to the Finance Manager and work closely with real estate, asset managers, and developers within the group. This is a new role with hands-on responsibilities across finance, real estate, and development projects. Salary: €3,000 - €3,100 gross per month + 8% holiday allowance.

Key Responsibilities:

Month-end financial reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements for the hotel and various projects.
Financial administration: Support day-to-day financial tasks, including bookkeeping and processing invoices.
Collaborate with multiple departments: Work closely with real estate and development teams to gain insights into the broader operations of the group.
Proactive problem-solving: Assist in various finance and development projects, taking a hands-on approach to problem-solving and project execution.
Learning opportunity: The Finance Manager is happy to teach and mentor you, ensuring you grow and develop your skills.
Excel-based reporting: Support the team with data analysis and reporting, with a focus on using Excel.

Requirements:

1-2 years of experience in a financial role, ideally within the hospitality industry.
A solid understanding of finance, with a passion for learning more about real estate and development.
Proactive and eager to learn, with a hands-on approach to work.
Excel proficiency is essential.
Fluency in English.
Must be based in or willing to commute to Amsterdam.

Fresh out of school with some practical financial experience and ready to take on new challenges.
Someone with a basic understanding of financial operations but eager to grow into a more complex role.
