Send Teaching Assistant

Job Role:

• Provide 1-1 support to children who have SEN in a Primary School setting.
• Assist the Class Teacher with the planning and delivery of the National Curriculum.
• Work closely with children with varying needs including ASD, ADHD, and Speech and Language Disorders.
• Help manage challenging behaviour in line with the school's policies.
• Support students in Key Stage 1 (KS1), Key Stage 2 (KS2), and Early Years (EYFS).
• Promote social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) development.

Required Skills and Experience:

• To hold a Level 2 or Level 3 teaching assistant qualification.
• Previous UK school experience is essential.
• Experience working with SEN children, particularly those with ASD, ADHD, and SEMH.
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and its application in KS1, KS2, and EYFS.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team, supporting both the Class Teacher and the students.
