Sen Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a 2-form entry Primary School in Longbridge. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to support children with special educational needs in a school rated "Good" by Ofsted.

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will support children across Key Stage 2 (KS2) with various needs, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and Challenging Behaviour. The ideal candidate will have strong behavioural management skills, a compassionate nature, and the ability to help students succeed in their learning. Experience supporting SEN pupils is essential.

This is a full-time, long-term assignment starting from October half term and is continuing until the end of the academic year.

The responsibilities of this SEN Teaching Assistant Role:

• Support KS2 students with special educational needs in a Primary School setting
• Help students with Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and Challenging Behaviour achieve their full potential
• Work closely with class teachers to deliver tailored learning plans
• Provide one-on-one or small group support as required
• Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Assist with behavioural management and learning development

Required Skills and Experience:

• Experience working in UK schools as a Teaching Assistant
• Knowledge of the National Curriculum.
• Previous experience working with Key Stage 2 pupils.
• Experience supporting students with SEN, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and Challenging Behaviour
• Strong behavioural management skills
• To hold a relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
