Supply Teacher

We are looking for Secondary Supply Teachers on a day-to-day supply basis working in secondary schools across Telford.

As a supply teacher working for Flourish Education, you have the chance to teach while enjoying a great work-life balance. Day-to-day supply allows you to fit your work around other commitments, and there is no requirement for you to undergo any planning or marking.

As a supply teacher doing day-to-day cover, you will be expected to:

• Deliver lessons and work set in accordance with the National Curriculum.
• Cover a variety of Secondary subjects across Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5.
• Maintain a motivating and engaging learning environment.
• In line with the school behaviour policy, manage classroom behaviours.
• Support and monitor students’ progression in lessons.
• When required, in line with the school’s marking policy, mark students' work.

To apply for this role as a Supply Teacher you must have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• ECTs (formerly known as NQTs) are always welcome to apply.
• Experience in a UK Secondary School.
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Experience working in schools within the last 2 years.

We have various day-to-day supply work within the Telford area and work with schools in various locations such as Wellington, Shifnal, Oakengates, Ironbridge, Madeley, and surrounding areas.
