This remarkable and well facilitated SEN school are now looking for a Graduate Psychology Teaching Assistant to join their welcoming team of educators in February 2025 with the potential to progress.

Graduate Psychology Teaching Assistant – Job Specification

• Earn up to £525 a week
• Long-term, full-time role
• Very hands-on role with strong opportunity to progress
• Must be comfortable with getting into a hydrotherapy pool, providing personal care & using iPads to communicate with students.
• Supporting 11-16 years olds with complex needs
• Gain invaluable SEN and classroom experience towards a future career in education
• Based in the Sheffield area
• Working hours 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Graduate Psychology Teaching Assistant – Candidate Specification

• Graduate Psychology Teaching Assistant
• A 2:1 or higher in Psychology, Health and Social Care or related
• A strong, empathetic character with a passion for education
• Resilient character with a legitimate interest to support SEN
• Able to be professional whilst adhering to boundaries
• Excellent at communication, time management, organisation, and team work
• Able to take initiative and pay close attention to details
• Social work / Caring experience (desired)
• Able to provide personal care (essential)
• Driving license and car (desired)
