Job Title: Adults Social Worker Assistant Team Manager

What you will do:
- Provide management, professional expertise, skills, and advice to ensure high-quality services are delivered effectively.
- Support the Team Manager in service development, undertaking crucial responsibilities such as safeguarding, professional supervision, and managing outcomes.
- Lead and supervise a multidisciplinary team, offering guidance and mentorship to enhance practice quality.
- Oversee the duty function within both Intermediate Care and Urgent Response, ensuring timely allocation and case management.
- Triage incoming referrals to social care urgent response, manage waiting lists, and assess risks efficiently.
- Authorise assessments, guarantee high standards of work practice, and ensure statutory responsibilities are met.
- Foster positive working relationships with relevant teams and ensure smooth transfers of case responsibility.
